Ranchi, Jan 10: The saffron brigade protested against the security lapse of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab on January 5 by forming a human chain from Harmu Chowk to Argora Chowk for two hours today.
On this occasion, former CM Babulal Marandi said that there was no lapse in the PM’s security in Punjab, it was a conspiracy. The people of the Congress party are ready to kill democracy.
“Mistakes are minor, but there was a conspiracy. When the Prime Minister goes somewhere, as per protocol, the CM and officials there reach the airport to welcome him, but there, the way Congress leaders made rhetoric after this incident, it seems that it was a conspiracy. It was the grace of God on the Prime Minister that no untoward incident happened,” Marandi said.
BJP MLA from Chandankiyari Amar Kumar Bauri said the manner in which the Congress government in Punjab has lapsed in protecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi shows their intention. The Pakistan border was just 10 km away from the place where the Prime Minister was forced to halt and there have been many such incidents in the history of India in which the Prime Minister has been assassinated.
“The popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is today all over the world and in such a situation, many countries are also his enemies. Despite this, the lapse in the security of the Prime Minister cannot be justified under any circumstances,” Bauri said.
Many party officials and workers including MP Sanjay Seth, Mayor Asha Lakra, Ranchi MLA CP Singh, Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal participated in the human chain.
