Ranchi, Oct 28: The Bharatiya Janata Party has taken a serious note of the deadly attack on BJP MLA Amit Mandal from Godda.  In this context, the BJP has put the Jharkhand government in the dock, raising serious questions on the issue of the security of MLAs and public representatives.

On the episode, Jharkhand BJP spokesperson and former MLA Kunal Sarangi has fiercely targeted the UPA coalition government of the state, calling it shameful for the government.

Kunal said that the MLA has clearly stated that he was attacked because of his fight with the sand mafia. Today the sand and liquor mafia has open protection of the state government, he alleged.

“The attack by the accused ASI on the officers of the ACB in Ranka police station shows that corrupt officers and criminals are being encouraged to do wrong things in the government security in the state,” Kunal added.

“The government does not seem to be serious about the criminal attack on the BJP MLA. It is almost 24 hours, despite this, the sand mafia involved in this attack has not been arrested,” Kunal further said.

Kunal said that the Jharkhand Police should also take proper cognizance of this attack in Bihar and ensure action as the state government is responsible for the security of the MLAs of the state.
