Jamshedpur, Aug 5: Two teenagers, including a girl were killed and another teen was seriously injured as the SUV they were travelling in hit a trailer at Saherbera on NH-33 under Chandil thana area in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district last night.
Those killed include BJP leader Basco Besra’s son Anmol Besra.
The girl who died in the mishap was identified as Ananya Verma and the one seriously injured as Yubraj Singh who is currently struggling for his life at the Tata Main Hospital.
The mishap took place while the three were going towards Chandil having attended their tution class at a place in Sonari.
Having crossed the Domuhani Bridge, Anmol was driving the SUV — Scorpio — at a breakneck speed towards Chandil and had hit the trailer from behind after hitting a divider at Saharbera. The SUV had overturned in the impact of the severe collision.
The police had rescued all the three with the help of local residents and rushed them all to MGM medical college hospital where Anmol (19) was declared as brought dead. Ananya (15) succumbed to her injuries in an hour.
Yubraj (19) who had sustained grievous injuries was later shifted to the Tata Main Hospital.
