Ranchi, March 22: The issue of recruitment and local policies returned to the Jharkhand assembly after the BJP legislators sought reply from Chief Minister Hemant Soren on the matter in accordance with the decision taken in the meeting of business advisory committee on March 16.
However, the chief minister expressed his reluctance to do so despite his presence in the house.
Notably, the business advisory committee had decided that the CM will reply in the running session according to his convenience but the BJP legislators observed that his reply did not come though the session is scheduled to be end tomorrow.
So, they moved to the well and started raising slogans and creating ruckus. They started raising slogans “60-40 Nay Chaltau”.
After the chief minister noticed the BJP legislators creating ruckus in the well, he asked them whether they were supporters of ‘60: 40 or 1932’ in a sarcastic manner.
On which the BJP legislators without wasting time retorted ‘1932’. On this reply the chief minister asked them why did they (BJP legislators) take refuge in court. He went on asking “Ramesh Hansda Kaun Hain (who is Ramesh Hansda?)” and commented ‘Mooh Mein Ram Bagal Mein Chhuri’.
The CM alleged the BJP of disturbing the house proceedings. According to him, the BJP hijacked the Lok Sabha and wanted to make a similar attempt in Jharkhand. He alleged the BJP legislators of disturbing the house since the first day of the budget session and said that the party neither has any issue nor any subject of public importance to discuss in the house.
The chief minister sought action against the BJP legislators for playing gimmick in the house. He alleged them of playing with the dignity of the house and demanded action against them.
“In logon ko Kapda Phad Kar Ram Bhakt Hone Ka Parichay dena Padta (BJP legislators have to tear their clothes to prove themselves devotees of Ram.” The chief minister said when the BJP was in power it did not spare a single penny for Ram Janki Tapowan Mandir in Ranchi while his government planned for its development silently and yesterday laid foundation for developmental work.
The CM said that he would reply on the recruitment and local policy at an opportune moment in the house.
As the CM was speaking, the BJP legislators continued their ruckus, alleging the chief minister of not respecting the decision taken in a business advisory committee meeting. Amid chaos, the speaker adjourned the proceedings till 2:00 pm.
