Daltonganj, June 25: Palamu BJP MP Vishnu Dayal Ram and his team of Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan are on outreach with the big and influential booth-wise.
On Saturday the team visited the houses of the famous falling in booth numbers 205,206 and 207. The team got a warm response. Pamphlets of nine years of rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP stickers and a phone number urging people to give a missed call as part of support to Modi were lavishly shared with the people.
They met renowned surgeon Dr Raghubansh Narayan Singh and sought his blessings in the coming Lok Sabha election.
They also met Suresh Jain who is seen as the messiah of poor women having delivery issues and with his Prakash Chand Jain Sewa Sadan, the cost of delivery and treatment is less than half of what other nursing homes charge which every pregnant woman hails.
The BJP Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan touched Dipu Singhania the man who is described here as ‘water engineer’.
Sources said the BJP has drawn a very precise road map for its grand people contact which has a subtitle Sampark Samarthan. A personal bond is to be converted into an electoral bond.
The BJP team that detoured localities of booth numbers 205 to 207 had no woman BJP functionary even when the Palamu unit has dedicated women cadres like Rupa Singh, Citu Gupta, Poonam Chandravanshi etc.
Again, the BJP Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan is male-centric as it hardly meets women of the houses who are very instrumental in motivating their men to whom to vote.
The Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan team is a mix of old-generation leaders like Shyam Narayan Dubey and young blood like Avinash Verma. Vibhakar Narain Pandey is the co-ordinator, Vijay Ojha, expert media manager, Sheo Kumar Mishra and the permanent face of the BJP in Palamu Vijayanand Pathak, the district president walked down the streets to knock at houses that matter most electorally.
