Ranchi, 19 April: A delegation of the BJP leaders today handed a memorandum to Jharkhand Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan demanding a judicial or CBI probe into the communal violence that took place in Jharkhand’s steel city, Jamshedpur, a few days ago after alleged desecration of the Ram Navmi flag.
The delegation demanded release of party leaders arrested in this connection and identify the real culprits involved in the incident which threw normal life out of gear and central paramilitary forces had to interfere to bring normalcy.
Former home secretary J.B. Tubid and retired IG of Jharkhand police Lakshman Prasad Singh, who are now BJP leaders, were part of the delegation which was led by former BJP state president Dineshanand Goswami.
