BJP set to return for another term in Uttarakhand, leads with 46 seats

Dehradun, Mar 10: The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) is set to return for another term. According to election results, the BJP has crossed the majority threshold in Uttarakhand and currently is leading with 46 seats.

At 8 a.m. on February 14, the counting of ballots for the Uttarakhand assembly election, which was held in a single phase, began. Today, the election results will be announced.

The incumbent BJP, Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party fought for power in the 70-seat Uttarakhand assembly election in a three-pronged contest. This year, 65.4 percent of eligible voters cast ballots.
