New Delhi: Veteran BJP leader L K Advani, 96, was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi today, sources confirmed. His condition is reported to be stable.

Hospital sources informed PTI about his admission, stating that Advani is under the care of Dr. Vinit Suri, a senior consultant in the neurology department. This isn’t the first time the seasoned politician has been hospitalized recently. In the first week of July, Advani was also brought to Apollo Hospital, where he was kept under observation for a couple of days before being discharged.

Prior to his July visit, Advani had been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, where he was discharged after a night-long stay.

Advani, a key figure in Indian politics and a founding member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has been a significant influence in shaping the party’s direction and policies over the decades.
