Panji, Oct.28: Prashant Kishor, the renowned political expert, has predicted that  BJP would be “at the heart of Indian politics” for “many decades.”

Prashant Kishor remarked in a press conference in Goa, where he is supporting the TMC ahead of the election, “Whether the BJP wins or loses, the BJP will be at the centre of Indian politics, just like the Congress was for the first 40 years. The BJP is stuck in a rut. You’re not going anywhere in India once you get 30 percent of the vote “”Hurry up.”

“So, never fall into the trap of thinking that people will become enraged and throw Modi out. Modi may be thrown out, but the BJP isn’t going anywhere. You’ll have to fight it out for decades to come ,”according to Prashant Kishor.

Prashant Kishor, who predicted that BJP would be a force to be reckoned with in the decades ahead, said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was mistaken in believing that “it is just a matter of time before people cast Narendra Modi away.”

“That is where Rahul Gandhi’s difficulty rests. Probably, he believes it is only a matter of time before people dismiss him (Narendra Modi). That’s not going to happen, “Kishor remarked.

“You will never be able to put (in place) a counter to defeat him until you investigate, understand, and take cognizance of his (Modi’s) power,” Prashant Kishor remarked.

“The issue, in my opinion, is that most people do not devote enough time to learning about his strengths and what makes him so famous. You can only find a counter if you know where to look,” the poll strategist went on to say more.

Prashant Kishor was instrumental in the success of the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal and the DMK in Tamil Nadu.

The Trinamool Congress (TMC), led by Mamata Banerjee, has extended its partnership with Prashant Kishor’s Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC) till the next assembly election in 2026, as the party aspires to a more national role.
