Daltonganj, Feb 22: Missionaries who are doing conversion under temptation and inducement of poor people and Naxals indulging in violence are the great threat to the internal security of India, said the state BJP president Deepak Prakash here today.
Prakash said the BJP respects the religion and faith of people but it is committed and determined to oppose and resist conversion under inducement and temptation.
Daltonganj BJP MLA Alok Chourasia had already gone on record saying a large number of families have converted to Christianity in the interiors of Badgad and Bhandarya blocks.
The state president’s candid pronouncement on the conversion by way of inducement points towards the BJP taking up this issue afresh and soon.
He described Naxals as one having an international backup and said all nationalists in the country must be up against the conversion by inducement and Naxalism.
Deepak Prakash spoke to lagatar24.com exclusively today in the hall of Vivek Bhavani Singh Garh.
He said the BJP team is working well in Palamu where there is more of a family bond than any coordination among the office bearers and the party workers.
He said he had discussions here over the expansion of the party base in Palamu. The district has 4 BJP MLAs out of its 5 assembly seats.
The BJP president termed the JMM as the bigger villain here in Jharkhand than the Congress, adding that the Congress is having its Chintan Shivir as it stands disconnected from the common people. The three departments in the state which are under the Congress MLAs are the worst in terms of corruption.
He did not spare the JMM saying the JMM describes Guruji as its ideal but when it comes to the prohibition in the state the JMM disregards its own Guruji.
Talking about the district mineral foundation trust he said there is an empire of loot of this trust.
He said police stations are ‘auctioned and transfer and posting are an industry here.’ March is to come within days and this government has spent only 43 percent of its allocated budget which itself proves this government is anti-development.
The state BJP president spoke about appeasement five times in his press conference today and harped on the mob lynching act of the government which he said has a tilt towards the minority appeasement.
He spoke about Urdu and language controversy terming it as a digressive tactic of the government to distract the attention of the common people from the core issues that affect their lives.
He charged that this government has destroyed the primary agricultural credit society just to allow the middlemen to have their cakewalk. Foodgrains sent by Prime Minister Narendra Modi here were left to rot in Jharkhand or sneaked into the black market, he charged.
The press conference was attended by MP V D Ram, MLA Alok Chourasia, Vivek Bhavani Singh, Vijayanand Pathak, Shyam Babu, Vijay Ojha, Mangal Singh and others.
