Boat rides shut in Patratu dam after clash between two sailors’ groups

Ramgarh, April 11: The famous tourist destination of Jharkhand was deserted on Tuesday after the incident of a fierce fight between two groups of sailors union and people getting injured, the SDO Ramgarh Md Javed Hussain has currently banned boat operations to maintain peace in the lake resort area.

The SDO said that permission will be given to operate boats only after the situation becomes normal. Here, after this incident, the lake resort management informed the tourism department about the incident of the fight and the circumstances here.

Along with this, the district administration has also been informed about this incident by the lake resort management. About 150 private boats operate daily in Patratu Dam. But after the incident of the fight, all the boats stood on the banks of the dam due to which the situation of unemployment also arose in front of the people of the boatmen union.
