New Delhi, Nov 9: A senior officer announced on Wednesday that the Border Security Force (BSF) had shot down a Pakistani drone near the international border between the two countries in Ferozepur, Punjab.
Around 11:25 p.m. on Tuesday, the “hexa copter” drone was shot down in the Ferozepur region. A team from the BSF and local police was able to find the drone early on Wednesday, according to him.

The BSF shot several owl bombs at it after identifying several drones. Later, a massive drone was discovered in the fields during a joint search operation with Punjab Police.
According to DIG BSF (Ferozepur) Ashok Kumar, the BSF reacted quickly and engaged in heavy shooting following the search operation.
Three times, according to SSP Surendra Lamba, drone movement was observed in the vicinity of the Pakistani border.
