Bus carrying 22 students of Xavier’s College Ranchi overturns in Sikkim’s Gangtok, all safe

Ranchi, June 28: Around 22 B.Ed students of St Xaviers’ College, Ranchi, sustained injuries after a bus carrying students of the college crashed and overturned in Sikkim.

The incident happened in front of Seven Mile Tadong of Orange village of Sikkim. Apart from the students, the driver, a teacher and the Khalasi also sustained injuries in the incident. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.

The students had gone to Sikkim for an excursion. A total of 25 people including the driver were boarding the bus when the incident took place.

The principal of the college Father Nabor confirmed the accident saying information coming to him suggests that the accident took place after the brake of the bus failed. Prodded further, he expressed his inability to share saying ‘details are yet to come.’

A college staff member, having an idea about the accident, said the accident took place while returning to Ranchi from Gangtok. “HoD is with the students,” the staff said.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto and BJP legislator party chief Babulal Marandi besides other political leaders of the state have sought proper help from the Sikkim chief minister for the relief of accident victims.

बच्चों को एयर लिफ्ट करने को भी तैयार रहने के लिए मैंने RC को निर्देश दिया है। फिलहाल स्थानीय खराब मौसम के कारण हम बच्चों को एयर लिफ्ट नहीं कर पा रहे हैं इसलिए वहीं समुचित ईलाज की व्यवस्था करवायी गयी है। (2/2)

जिससे कि घायल बच्चों का समुचित इलाज हो सके। मुख्यमंत्री जी बच्चों को एयरलिफ्ट करने के लिए भी तत्पर हैं परंतु खराब मौसम बाधा बन रही है। सरकार अपने होनहारों के लिए पूरी तरह से ,हर विकल्प के साथ तैयार है। 2/2@JmmJharkhand

राँची के सेंट ज़ेवियर कॉलेज से शैक्षणिक भ्रमण में सिक्किम गए छात्रों की बस के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने की खबर है।

संत जेवियर्स कॉलेज रांची से अध्ययन यात्रा पर गए विद्यार्थियों से भरी बस के सिक्किम में दुर्घटनाग्रस्‍त होने की सूचना मिली। इस दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण हादसे में घायल हुए छात्रों के शीघ्र स्वास्थ्य लाभ की कामना करता हूँ।
