New Delhi, April 16: In connection with the murder of former MP Vivekananda Reddy, the CBI arrested Y S Bhaskar Reddy, an uncle of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Weeks before the state assembly elections, Vivekananda, the late Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s brother and Jagan Reddy’s uncle, was discovered dead with stab injuries at his Pulivendula home on March 15, 2019.
A special investigation team (SIT) of the state crime investigation department initially looked into the case before turning it over to the CBI in July 2020.
