Patna, March 11: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned Bihar Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav today (March 11) in connection with land-for-job case. This is the second summon issued to him in this case, the first being issued on 4th February.

This comes a day after the ED conducted raids at multiple locations in Bihar and Delhi on Friday. In connection with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) scam, searches are being undertaken at 15 locations across three states. The home of RJD politician and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s aide Abu Dojana in Patna, Bihar, is also the target of raids.

Raids were carried out, according to sources, at Abu Dojana, the leader of the RJD, and Misa Bharti, a daughter of Lalu Prasad who lives in Delhi.

More than 15 places in Delhi, the National Capital Region, and Bihar are the subject of the searches, according to PTI sources. These locations, which comprised the residences and offices of the suspects and the recipients of the suspected land-for-jobs scheme, were simultaneously searched by several teams of the ED. Following the submission of an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) and taking cognizance of the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) case against Lalu Prasad in the matter, the ED conducted these searches in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
