Ranchi, Oct 21: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an extension on the last date to register for the ‘Eureka Junior’ – Business Plan Competition that is to be soon organised by the ‘Entrepreneurship Cell’ of IIT Bombay.
Delhi Public School Ranchi principal and CBSE city coordinator Dr Ram Singh has released information regarding the same. As per the information, the last date for registration has now been extended to October 27. Earlier, it was October 25.
The competition aims to encourage and promote the inquisitive minds of the students to generate innovative ideas and provides them with a platform to present their startup ideas. Students from classes VI to XII can participate in this competition. Under this competition, students will be provided with workshops and mentorship from business experts to develop their startup ideas.
A national-level Olympiad is also being organised under this to test and impart knowledge about the field of entrepreneurship. Students can register on Eureka Junior’s website to participate in this competition. The last date for registration is 27 October 2022.
Meanwhile, earlier, CBSE had also announced ‘The Responsible AI for Youth Programme’. Initiated by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, to prepare students for AI, the ‘Responsible AI for Youth programme’ will be organised under YUVAi – Youth for Unnati and Vikas with AI.
The programme will be organised for students of classes 8th to 12th. Interested students can register at https://innovateindia.mygov.in/yuvai/ to participate in this contest. The last date to register is October 30, 2022. More information related to the competition is available on the official website of CBSE.
