Centre invites applications for 1671 vacancies in Intelligence Bureau

Ranchi, Nov 1: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has released a notification for the recruitment of 1671 Security Assistant, Executive and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) posts in the Intelligence Bureau across the country.

Of these, interested candidates will have an opportunity for 1521 posts under executive posts while those interested in MTS will have around 150 posts available. Any 10th pass candidates can apply online by visiting www.mha.nic.in till November 25.

Vacancy

Here, 755 posts of SA-Executive will be available for the unreserved category, 271 posts are reserved for the OBC category, 240 posts for the SC category, and 103 posts for the ST category. Along with this, 68 posts of unreserved category, 35 of OBC, 15 of EWS, 16 of SC and 16 posts of ST will be recruited for MTS.

Salary

If selected during the recruitment process, the candidate can expect a salary between Rs 44,900 and Rs 1,42,400 along with allowances every month.

Qualification

The candidate must have passed the 10th examination from any recognized board, the candidate should be a native of the same state where they want to apply, and the candidate should be well-versed in the regional languages of the state.

Age Range

The minimum age for candidates is 18 years, while the maximum age is 25 for posts under MTS, and 27 for posts of Security Assistant-Executive. Notably, the candidates of the SC, ST, OBC and other categories will have relaxation as per Central Government rules.

Fees

Candidates belonging to the General, EWS and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 450 for the application fee. On the other hand, SC, ST and women candidates of all categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 50.
