Chandil: Two trucks loaded with illegal coal seized, drivers arrested

Chandil, Sept 10: Based on secret information, the police of Neemdeeha Thana have seized two trucks carrying illegal coal and arrested their drivers. After interrogation, both drivers have been sent to jail.

This information was provided by Sanjay Kumar Singh, a police official in the Chandil sub-district. He stated that the police received secret information that two trucks were transporting coal illegally. Acting on this information, a vehicle checking operation was conducted, and during this operation, two trucks loaded with illegal coal, bearing registration numbers BR 02GB 4185 and JH 02AA 4185, were brought to the police station. The drivers of both trucks, Shahid Ansari and Anuj Yadav, were asked to produce documents related to the loaded coal, but they neither provided satisfactory answers nor presented any documents.

In this regard, a case was registered in the Neemdih police station and both the accused were sent to judicial custody. The arrested persons include Shahid Ansari, resident of Ranchi, driver of truck number BR 02GB 4185 and Anuj Yadav, resident of Gaya district of Bihar, driver of truck number JH 02AS 4185.

The raiding team included Neemdih police station in-charge Tanjeel Khan, priest Ajit Kumar, Havildar Paulus Ekka, constable Muklesur Rahman and armed forces personnel of Neemdih police station.
