Bengaluru, Aug 23: India has created history on the moon. ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3’s lander module successfully landed on the moon.
According to ISRO, the lander was successful in landing on the moon at 6:04 pm. During this, ISRO telecasted the entire process of landing live from the control complex of the mission in Bengaluru. It is expected that this mission of ISRO will reveal the secrets of the moon very soon. With this, India has become the first country to run a mission on the south pole of the moon.
On this historic occasion, PM Narendra Modi also joined through online medium. He congratulated the scientists of ISRO and the countrymen on the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon.
Chandrayaan-3 flew into space on July 14, 2023, at 2.35 pm from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
