Hazaribag, Dec 27: Chatra district police tasted big success today by nabbing seven extremists of Tritiya Prastuti Sammelan Committee (TSPC) and recovering arms and ammunition from them. This arrest is big for police as this squad has unleashed a reign of terror in the Piparwar area terrorising coal transporters to business class.

The arrest was made by a team led by Tandwa subdivisional police officer Shambhu Singh. The seven arrested include the zonal commander of TSPC as well.

Sources said on Dec 14, a firing took place in the house of one Mohammad Aslam and police got the CCTV footage showing the faces of the involved ones. This made the police reach these TSPC extremists resulting in their arrest. Interrogation is going on with the police to provide all details in the afternoon.
