According to the information, the road construction work is going on from Dantewada to Narayanpur. In this road construction work, daily jawans leave the camp to provide security. To harm the soldiers, the Maoists had kept an IED plant in the area.

On Tuesday, the police got information that there has been a Naxalite movement in this area. On the basis of this information, the jawans went out to search. Meanwhile, Maoists detonated an IED between Bodli and Kariyameta camps. In which a young man has been injured. However, he has suffered minor injuries.

A pipe bomb was also planted by the Maoists at some distance from the camp. That too exploded. However, no jawans have come under the grip of pipe bombs. Here after searching the area, the jawans have recovered 4 pieces of live IED from the spot, which the BDS team is trying to diffuse safely.
