Ranchi, June 21: The Jharkhand police’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested two cyber criminals who duped Rs 2.50 lakh by posing as Air Asia customer care staff.
Those arrested include Muzaffar Ansari and Sirajuddin Ansari. Both are residents of Deoghar in Jharkhand.
They had put their fake number in the customer care number of Air Asia. When Prabhas Kumar, a Ranchi Sail City resident, called for assistance they asked them to download Rust Desk Application and managed to transfer Rs 2.50 lakh from his account.
