Deoghar, Sept 9: The Deoghar airport controversy is now being probed by the CID. As per information, Deoghar SP Subash Chandra Jatt had requested the police headquarters to hand over the matter to the CID.
CID IG Asim Vikrant Minj has appointed a team of officers led by CID DSP Sandeep Gupta posted at Dumka. The CID DSP confirmed the case take over to lagatar24.com.
DSP Gupta has taken over the case from Deoghar police on Thursday. He visited the Kunda Police station yesterday and fulfilled the formalities as well as gathered information about the case.
As per the information, he first went to the airport and collected the CCTV footage.
Notably, the controversy emerged after the unauthorised entry of Godda MP Nishikant Dubey into the Air Traffic Control room of the airport on 31st August along with his sons and others. A complaint was lodged by DSP Suman Anand at the local Kunda police station regarding the matter.
Contrary to this, a case against the Deoghar DC Manjunath Bhajantri was lodged by the Godda MP in New Delhi.
