CID issues number for complaints related to cybercrime

Ranchi, Oct 7: The CID has issued a number for the complaint of a case related to cybercrime. CID has made a number 155260 available for such types of cases.

Immediate action will be taken whenever a complaint is received on the number. According to the information, if a common person calls on this number and he is a victim, then the case will be registered immediately. After which complete information about the case will be recorded on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCCRP).

The setup is being prepared so that the complaint can be lodged on the number.  For this, training is also being given to six policemen by the CID Headquarters, who will register the complaints coming on the number.  As the number of complaints related to cybercrime increases, so will the number of policemen.
