Jamshedpur, Aug 21: Under the aegis of CII Jharkhand, the fourth ICT Conclave was organized at Beldih Club here today.
The theme of this ICT Conclave was “The Future is Now: Unlocking the Potential of AI for Industries”.
Speaking at the event, Ujjwal Chakraborty, Chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly essential to the daily operations of manufacturers across the world. AI is enabling companies to streamline processes, increase productivity and reduce damage to the environment in many new ways. Today, the concept of AI technology in factories has gone far beyond robot-filled workplaces.
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies will greatly benefit the steel industry. AI can lead to improvements in various aspects of the steel production process, from raw material sourcing to manufacturing and quality control. AI can analyze historical data and real-time sensor information to optimize the manufacturing process. Machine learning algorithms can predict equipment failures, adjust production parameters for optimal efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
Dipankar Chakraborty, Chairman, ICT Subcommittee, CII Eastern Region, said that there should be a policy for Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Siddharth Kumar Rai, Additional Director, STPI Ranchi Center and Sanjay Patro, Dean, XLRI Jamshedpur, explained about the challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the work done by it.
Sarjit Jha, Convenor of CII ICT Jharkhand threw light on the topic. Umesh Singh, Chairman, CII Jamshedpur welcomed the guests at the conclave.
In the technical session, CII Jharkhand ICT co-convenor Shivam Kamani, Prashant Garg, Amit Kaul and Ashidhara Lahiri gave their views on Future of Technology focus on AI.
In the other technical session, CII ICT Jharkhand coordinator Sarjit Jha, Devpriya Nandan, Avinash Singh and Rohit Sarkar gave information on Transform Manufacturing Sector in India.
In the last session, CII Jharkhand ICT member Vivek Tulsian, XLRI professor Ashish Kumar Pani and Subojit Sinha shared information on e-governance and sharing of success stories.
