Jamshedpur, Sept 15: The Confederation of Indian Industry ( CII ) in association with CII Foundation and the district administration of West Singhbhum launched a vaccination drive at  Keraikela near Chakradharpur in West Singhbhum,  which falls under Kolhan  as part of the ongoing drive at various locations across the country.

Rural communities, local residents, notified and de-notified tribes benefited under the vaccination camp.

Around 2500 people would get vaccinated at the camp.

The vaccination camp was inaugurated by  Geeta Koda,  Singhbhum MP in presence of district administration and CII officials.

To revive the economy and prevent future waves of Covid-19, CII is now focusing on accelerating vaccination, especially in rural India and Tier II and III cities.

The CII Foundation is rolling out vaccination camps with a focus on underserved and marginalised communities across India.

Such camps are being set up in partnership with industry, medical authorities and hospitals and grassroots organisations, operating at the community level.
