Ranchi, Nov 17: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has invited applications for 787 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Sub Inspector and Head Constable. All interested 10th pass candidates can apply online till December 20 by visiting the official website of CISF at www.cisfrectt.in. After this, the candidates will be selected based on physical tests.
Vacancies
A total of 787 posts of constable will be recruited by CISF. Of these, a total of 779 posts are for cooks, cobblers, tailors, barbers, washermen, sweepers, painters, masons, plumbers, gardeners, and welders. Meanwhile, 8 posts are backlog posts of constable and barber. Here, out of 787 posts, 69 are reserved for women candidates, while 641 will be reserved for male candidates and 77 for ex-servicemen.
Salary
Upon selection in the selection process, a recruit may get paid as per pay-matrix level-3, and a pay scale of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.
Age Limit
While the minimum age of a candidate is set at 18, the maximum age at which a candidate will be accepted is 25 years. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, etc.) will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per Central Government rules. In addition to these, the height of male candidates should not be less than 165 cm and the height of female candidates should not be less than 155 cm.
Application fee
Candidates have to pay the fee of Rs 100 online mode for the application. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC, and ST, among others and all women candidates are fully exempted from the application fee.
Selection Process
The selection process will be done on Physical Standard Test (PST), documentation, a written exam in OMR / CBT format, Skill Test (dictation and transcription for stenographer and typing test for head constable) and a medical test
