Jamshedpur, March 23: Most districts of Jharkhand are expected to witness clear weather on Thursday, said a Met forecast issued by Ranchi Meteorological Center this morning.
Weathermen said no significant synoptic system prevails over the state. The existing Western Disturbance was seen as a cyclonic circulation over Iran between 3.1 Km and 5.8 Km above the mean sea level.
A trough was running from interior Tamilnadu to south Chhattisgarh across interior Karnataka, Telangana and Vidarbha at 0.9 Km above the mean sea level.
Statistics revealed that light to moderate rain with thunderstorm occurred at several places over the state last evening. The highest rainfall recorded was 53.2 mm at Parsabad (Koderma). The highest maximum temperature of 30.5°C was recorded at Garhwa while the lowest minimum temperature of 15.2°C was recorded at Ranchi.
Mainly clear sky and dry weather is likely to prevail in the next 48 hours, said a duty officer at Ranchi Met Centre.
