Ranchi, June 16: Chief Minister Hemant Soren while reviewing the schemes run by the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minorities, Backward Classes Welfare Department asked about the status of the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, Scholarship Scheme, Eklavya Model School, Residential School, Ashram School and residential school for backward classes and minorities.
The CM instructed them to give scholarship amount to all the students as soon as possible under Pre-Matric and Post Matric Scholarship Scheme. He said that he had come to know about some problems related to post matric scholarship and directed the officials to make sure that the kids don’t have any problem.
The chief minister asked the bureaucrats to ensure supportive supervision to beneficiaries under the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme.
Earlier, on behalf of the department, the chief minister was informed that in the last financial year, Rs 104 crore has been distributed among the beneficiaries out of Rs 146 crore under the Chief Minister’s Employment Scheme.
