Ranchi, Jan.12: Chief minister Hemant Soren today inaugurated seven PSA Oxygen plants through virtual mode from his office.
Inaugurating the plants, Soren expressed his commitment for better health care to the state people near their houses.
“About two years ago when the Covid-19 pandemic had struck the whole world, Jharkhand was also no exception to it. The biggest challenge before our government was that even the facility of testing for corona was not available in the state. But today PSA plants have been installed in every district. RTPCR and state-of-the-art Cobas machines are also here to test the corona,” the CM said.
“There are about 25,000 beds available in hospitals. Now there is adequate availability of oxygen supported beds, ICU and ventilator in the state. It is the endeavor of the government that no patient should face any kind of problem due to paucity of medical resources,” he added.
Out of seven plants two are located at Sadar Hospital, Ranchi, one at Mercy Hospital, Jamshedpur, one at Trauma Centre Ramgarh, one at Sadar Hospital, Deoghar, and one each at Chakuila in East Singhbhum and Kuchai in Saraikela.
