Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has called upon the people of Jharkhand to exercise their right to vote in large numbers and encourage others to do the same. As Jharkhand embarks on the democratic festival of Assembly elections today, voting is underway for 43 assembly seats in the first phase. CM Soren emphasized that this election will play a crucial and lasting role in strengthening the state, now celebrating 24 years.
He appealed to voters to preserve Jharkhand’s rich history, culture, and identity, while empowering the marginalized, ensuring social security, economic empowerment, education, health, and a harmonious society. “It is by nurturing these pillars that Jharkhand can truly flourish and grow as a robust tree with deep roots. Let us take decisive and meaningful steps towards building a golden Jharkhand, fulfilling the dreams of our brave martyrs and revolutionary leaders,” he said.

Know Our Achievements and Future Plans Before You Vote
CM Soren also urged citizens to review the state government’s achievements and upcoming plans before casting their votes. “I have presented my work transparently before you. I acknowledge that there is much to be done for our elders, youth, and women, and I commit to fulfilling these needs with dedication and speed,” he assured.
He further emphasized that his government will not indulge in divisive politics like the BJP-NDA. “Resorting to violence is easy but cowardly. The BJP-NDA attempts to distract people by inciting religious issues and international disputes because they lack genuine solutions for critical issues like inflation, unemployment, and border security with China,” he asserted.
Urging voters to assess the current government’s work, CM Soren promised that, if given support, he would accomplish ten years’ worth of progress in the next five years, ensuring that Jharkhand’s pace of development remains unstoppable.
