Ramgarh, Nov 5: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday laid the foundation stone of 146 schemes worth Rs 4,616.26 lakh, inaugurated 106 schemes worth Rs 25,598.47 lakh, distributed assets worth 11982.43 lakhs among 2,813,18 beneficiaries, along with adding 6,456 adolescent girls to be covered by Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana. He further provided benefits of the Sona Sobran Dhoti-Sari-Lungi Distribution Scheme to 2,484,35 beneficiaries in a programme organised at Rajrappa stadium Ramgarh.

The CM said, “So far your government has received more than 31 lakh applications under the Sarkar Aapke Dwar programme and has executed more than 20 lakh applications. It is the endeavour of the government to ensure that the maximum number of applications are processed. Such a camp was organised in the year 2021 as well. This special event will be organised for a month.  However, even after one month, the process will continue so that people benefit from the scheme.”

CM Soren was speaking as the chief guest in the programme ‘Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ organised at Rajrappa, Ramgarh. The CM further said that this is the first time that such enthusiasm has been noted amid the state since its formation. “The government stands with farmers, workers, women, youth and all the needy. The priority of the government is to strengthen the rural economy,” he added.

Doren further said that he had urged the Central Government to give pensions to the needy people of the state, but neither was the pension universalized nor the amount of pension increased. “In such a situation, your government has done the work of giving pensions to all the needy on its own. Meanwhile, the Center owes crores to the state,” the CM said.

The CM also said that the students of the state would soon get the benefit of CM Sarathi Yojana. The government will provide financial assistance for pursuing studies in engineering, law and other subjects. The government has envisaged the student credit card, through which the government will provide financial support for higher education at low interest and is developing the model school on the lines of a private school.

While leaving the venue, the Chief Minister went to the school girls and asked about their condition.  All the girls thanked the Chief Minister for the Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana.

Minister Alamgir Alam, Minister Satyanand Bhokta, Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi, Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad, Secretary Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary K. Srinivasan, Deputy Commissioner Ramgarh, Madhavi Mishra, Superintendent of Police  Piyush Pandey, students, sisters of Sakhi Mandal, farmers and beneficiaries were present on the occasion.
