New Delhi, Dec.4: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) announced a rise in compressed natural gas (CNG) pricing in Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan with effect from 6 a.m. on Saturday. The revised CNG price in the national capital territory (NCT) of Delhi is now Rs.53.04 per kg, following the recent price revision. Aside from the capital, the largest natural gas distribution business has increased CNG pricing in a few Haryana and Rajasthan cities.
The updated CNG price in Gurugram is Rs.60.40 per kilogramme. CNG now costs Rs.61.10 per kilogramme in Rewari. According to Indraprastha Gas Limited, the updated CNG price in Karnal and Kaithal is Rs.59.30 per kilogramme.
In a series of tweets, the natural gas provider revealed the latest increase in CNG rates. The firm announced that the updated CNG price in Rajasthan will be Rs.67.31 per kg in Ajmer, Pali, and Rajsamand.
Indraprastha Gas primarily operates in the Delhi market. GAIL India, Bharat Petroleum, and the Delhi government formed a joint venture with the firm.
In 1998, the business was formed to take over GAIL’s Delhi City Gas Distribution Project. The project was initiated to lay a network for the distribution of natural gas to users in the home, transportation, and commercial sectors in the national capital region of Delhi.
On the BSE, shares of Indraprastha Gas Limited closed 1.51% higher at 505.60 apiece on Friday, December 3.
