Ranchi, Sept.3: Jharkhand in-charge of Indian National Congress R.P.N.Singh today warned government officials of dire consequences if they do not listen to the Congress party workers.
“In case the government officials do not listen to the Congress party workers then party workers will make them understand after going to their offices,” Singh said while addressing a press conference after the appointment of new state president and four executive presidents for the state unit.
Singh, on the occasion, directed the new team of Congress headed by Rajesh Thakur to establish communication with every worker of the party and take party flags to each house of the state.
The senior Congress party leader reiterated his commitment for 27 percent reservation to backward, employment to youths, return of land to the poor from the BJP sponsored land bank, and constitution of displacement commission.
The press conference was organised in such a situation when a section of senior party leaders are not happy with the selection of the new team and are worried about regional imbalances developed due to the selection of new senior office bearers.
