Congress president Sonia Gandhi tests positive for COVID-19

New Delhi, June 2: Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of the Congress, tested positive for Covid-19 just days after the Enforcement Directorate issued summons in the National Herald case.

Sonia Gandhi, according to Congress’s Randeep Singh Surjewala, has held a series of meetings with leaders and activists in the recent week. She tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday evening. Sonia Gandhi has isolated herself and has mild symptoms.

Notably, the ED issued summons to Rahul and Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday in connection with the National Herald case.
