New Delhi, Nov 10: Jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar has written a number of letters to Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena protesting about Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, and Minister Satyendar Jain.

Sukesh’s attorney AK Singh recently issued a letter dated November 9 in which he claimed to have received “continuous threats” and pressure to drop accusations against the Aam Aadmi Party, Satyendar Jain, Arvind Kejriwal, and Kailash Gehlot that had been brought before the LG office.

At the letter, Sukesh’s attorney requested that the conman and his wife, who are now being held in Tihar Jail in the nation’s capital, be sent to any other jail nationwide (outside of the jurisdiction of the DG and Delhi Prisons) “to protect safety of their lives and limbs.”

“My client (Sukesh Chandrashekhar) has received constant threats and pressure to withdraw complaints filed before the Lieutenant Governor office against Aam Aadmi Party, Satyendar Jain, Arvind Kejriwal and Kailash Gehlot and also to retract from disclosure statements given to the EOW and ED during the investigation of the above-said case,” Singh wrote.

Sukesh further asserted that his wife is being “threatened and abused” by the senior jail officers in connection with the matter in an effort to persuade her husband to drop the complaints, etc. Sukesh is currently facing multiple cases of corruption under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Money Laundering Act.

He also said that on August 31 of this year, CRPF members assaulted him inside the jail, causing him to suffer serious genital injuries.

Sukesh claimed in an earlier letter that he was prepared to be hanged if any of the concerns he had made with Delhi LG proved out to be unfounded.
