Covid vaccines for 15-18 teens at five schools in Ranchi on January 3

Ranchi, Jan 1: The District Administration of Ranchi has intensified the preparations regarding the Covid-19 vaccination of adolescents in the age group of 15-18 years starting from 03 January 2022.

In this sequence, a meeting of the vaccination cell constituted at the district level was held with the principals and vice-principals of various schools in the urban area on January 1.

During the meeting, Additional Collector (Naxal), DRCHO Shashi Bhushan Khalkho and Dr Anub shared necessary information with the Principals and Vice-Principals of the schools while discussing the preparations related to vaccination.

In the meeting, the Principals and Vice-Principals of various schools were given detailed information by the Additional Collector (Naxal) regarding the introduction of Covid-19 vaccination of adolescents in the age group of 15-18 years. DRCHO Shashi Bhushan Khalkho and Dr Anub briefed everyone about the technical aspects related to vaccination. Everyone was instructed to complete the target of vaccination of adolescents in the age group of 15-18 years in schools at the earliest.

General Branch In-charge Sanjay Prasad told the Principals and Vice-Principals of the schools that they should try to provide information to the parents and children from their level about 100% vaccination of adolescents in the age group of 15-18 years and inform them through various social media groups and other means.

Covid-19 vaccination will be done in the following schools on 3rd January 2022:

  1. DAV Hehal
  2. Marwari School
  3. Zilla School
  4. Gauri Dutt Mandelia School, Ratu Road
  5. Government +2 High School Kanke

 

Covid-19 vaccination will be done in the following schools on 4th January 2022:

  1. Government Girls School, Bariatu
  2. SS +2 High School, Doranda
  3. Guru Nanak School
