Mumbai, Oct 20: Special NDPS court in Mumbai will pass its order on Wednesday on the bail plea of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. VV Patil’s Bench of the Special NDPS Court in Mumbai had reserved the verdict in the matter after a long debate on October 13 and 14. It is believed that by noon it will be decided whether Aryan will remain in jail or he will be released on bail.
Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has submitted chats between Aryan khan and an upcoming Bollywood actress discussing drugs during the Mumbai cruise party.
Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3, hours after Narcotics Control Bureau officers raided a Mumbai cruise ship party in disguise. Seven others, including his friend Arbaaz Merchant, were arrested on the same day. At present Aryan has been lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail since October 8. However, Aryan’s 14-day judicial custody will end on October 21.
In Aryan’s case, the NCB had initially registered a case for drug consumption, they had invoked Sections 27, 28 and 29. Section 28 is attempt to consume, section 29 is conspiracy to consume and section 27 is for consumption. 20 people, including two Nigerian nationals, have been arrested so far in the case.
