Ranchi, June 10: Curfew has been announced in Ranchi after Muslim community started huge protest against suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma’s controversial statement. There has been stone pelting in many areas of Ranchi in which SSP Surendra Kumar Jha got injure.

Police started lathi-charge on people stones were pelted from the side of the mob. Many police personnel were also injured in stone pelting. To clear the crowd, the police had to fire in the air after lathi-charge. Only after that the crowd could be controlled.
