Dhanbad, Nov 22: Firebrand Congress leader, Chandrashekhar Dubey alias Dadai Dubey, has rejected mediation of Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi’s appointed senior leader, Mallikarjun Kharge and former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh, for solving the problem of faction-ridden Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC).
Dadai Dubey, who also leads one of the INTUC factions, said that talk has been derailed as both the leaders have lost trust.

“ On August 9, both leaders held a meeting in New Delhi with leaders of  both factions of INTUC. They heard the claims of both factions and ruled that none will hold any meeting or release any statement. Despite the decision, the Sanjeeva Reddy  faction held a meeting on November 20 in Delhi. But the committee has taken no action against him,” said Dubey while talking with the media at Dhanbad circuit house on Sunday evening.

INTUC, the labour organization of Congress, has become faction-ridden as Sanjeeva Reddy and former MP of Dhanbad, Dadai Dubey, both claim their group as the real one. This matter is also pending in court.

Since the factional feud in INTUC has hit the party hard especially in Jharkhand , on request of senior party leaders the national president Sonia Gandhi had appointed two members; Mallikarjun Kharge and Digvijay Singh to resolve the issue.

Despite the ban, the Dadai Dubey faction held its meeting in Katras (Dhanbad) on November 13 which fueled the fire of INTUC. On November 20, the Sanjeeva Reddy faction also held a meeting in Delhi.

“Digvijay Singh  attended  the executive  committee of Sanjeeva Reddy faction as chief guest on November 20. In this situation, how would we  expect a fair deal from him in getting compromised”, Dubey said.

Dubey said that only Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are his leaders and he will only accept their decisions. He also announced that he will hold an INTUC  convention at Ramgarh, Jharkhand.
