Daltonganj, April 22: A total of 32 MBBS students have plucked in the very first examination of the MBBS courses in the Medinirai medical college and hospital (MMCH) in Daltonganj.
As this medical college is affiliated to the Nilamber Pitamber university Daltonganj, result of the 2021 batch of these students was declared on April 20.
The controller of the university examinations Dr Sheo Pujan Pd Singh and his team worked hard for the result of the MBBS examination of 2021 batch.
According to MMCH principal in-charge Dr Dharmender Kumar, “99 students of the 2021 batch took their first year MBBS examination whose theory and practical ended by February 10.”
“Out of the 99 MBBS students, only 67 were declared pass. 32 got plucked. It’s a matter of concern for us,” he said.
He said, “We are waiting for the cross list of the result to reach us from the university. It is only then we will be in a position to say as to why or where MBBS students did not fare well.”
Dr Kumar declined to hazard any guess saying “Let the cross list come. I ask my students not to get any upset. They must strive hard to achieve and they will do good.”
