Daltonganj, Dec 9: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren during his Khatyani Johar Yatra on Friday blamed the Raghubar Das government for the lack of developments in the state and called them ‘Double Engine ki Sarkar’.

He said, “As I am unfolding the misdeeds of the previous government, all bad and evil forces have conspired to tarnish my image.”

The CM in his speech used euphemisms when he for more than half a dozen times referred to ‘Double Engine Ki Sarkar’ which was a favourite coinage with his arch-rival Raghubar Das and the whole clan of the BJP in Jharkhand.

He said people lauding the previous government now vitiate the social fabric of the state and these people have widened the gap between the communities. However, Adivasis believe in togetherness and harmony and the government will protect it.

Earlier in the day, the CM held reviews in Garhwa and Palamu for the block level in the police line ground in Daltonganj.

A team of top officers like chief secretary Sukhdev Singh, DGP Niraj Sinha, principal secretary to the CM Rajiv Arun Ekka, secretary Vinay Kumar, secretary Amitabh Kaushal and others accompanied the chief minister in the review meeting.

Among the ministers Badal, Satyanand Bhokta and Mithilesh Thakur were present.

Moreover, Palamu administration had made a suitable arrangement for the review meeting of the CM in the police line ground, said sources. The Palamu district JMM unit led by Rajinder Sinha was too over buoyed with the Yatra of the chief minister.

Sources said the CM has asked for MGNREGA and cattle wealth to be promoted in every panchayat.
