Nunulal Tudu has allegedly threatened the principal through social media which became viral on Friday.

This is the first time in Dhanbad where 65 posh private schools affiliated with CBSE and ICSE run, a principal has got life threat to institution property.

The playground belongs to DAV School Rangamati donated by Fertilizer Corporation of India (FCI) management in New Delhi. The dispute appeared on June 13 when as per the directive of the SDM, the school management started construction of the boundary of the playground under the supervision of executive magistrate Sanjay Kumar Singh with a heavy police force.

A section of people of the nearby village protested the work. Having seen the tension mounting, the district administration official stopped the work.

The district administration provided security to school management for covering the playground on the directive of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), New Delhi. The officials said that the district administration intervened only after going through the land papers of the school and the agreement deed of FCI management.

Sindri SDPO Abhishek Singh could not be contacted for comment over the life threat to the DAV principal, however, a police officer on duty at Baliapur police station said that based on the complaint, necessary steps would be initiated.

The school management said that the group of villagers have not only stopped the construction of the boundary wall claiming the land a tribal religious function place, but also banned the parking of school buses there.

Principal Ashutosh Kumar admitted that the objection of selected people on the playground has created panic among students who fear playing in the apprehension of assault from anti-social elements who frequently invade the place.
