DC Ranchi checks Republic Day preparedness during full-dress rehearsal

Ranchi, Jan 24: To check the preparedness of the Republic Day celebration, which is to be organised at Morhabadi ground, a full-dress rehearsal was done today in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan and Senior Superintendent of Police Surendra Jha.

 

During the rehearsal, all the programs to be organized on Republic Day were repeated and a march past salute was taken from the parade parties. Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police Rural inspected the parade.

The DC with the Senior Superintendent of Police inspected the venue and took stock of the preparations. In view of the guidelines related to Covid-19 by the officials, necessary instructions were given for arrangements and compliance.

 

 

After the full-dress rehearsal, there was a joint briefing of the deputed officials. During this, along with the district level officials, officers of the police force were also present.

 

 

During the briefing, all the officers were informed about the joint order issued by the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Ranchi and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi.

Necessary instructions were given to all the deputation officers to discharge their duties and responsibilities by reaching the place of deputation in time.

 

 

While addressing the officers, DC said that everyone should fulfill their responsibility faithfully, reach their deputation place at the time and discharge the work by following the social distancing norms.

Following are the various platoons participating in the Republic Day celebrations held at Morhabadi Ground:-

  1. Army
  2. CRPF
  3. CISF
  4. ITBP
  5. ZAP-1
  6. Jharkhand Jaguar
  7. ZAP-2
  8. ZAP-10 (Women’s Battalion)
  9. DAP
  10. SSB
  11. Home Guard Rural
  12. Ranchi Police (Male)
  13. Fire Brigade

The band parties are as follows:-

  1. Army Band
  2. CRPF
  3. JAP
  4. Home Guard
  5. JAP-10 (Female)
