Ranchi, March 15: The Jharkhand High Court today directed Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) to change the points related to roster in its appointment rules after conducting a governing body meeting.

Before the court gave direction it expressed its concern about the non-seriousness of the state government for appointment to different posts of the premier health institutes.

When a division bench comprising Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice S.N.Prasad gave direction in virtual mode both the RIMS director and the health secretary were connected.

The court giving the direction deferred the hearing for two weeks. Before the matter was deferred the court observed that for the last two years repeated orders have been passed for appointment but the RIMS is not taking it seriously. On which the RIMS said that they had sent requisition to the JPSC but the recruitment agency returned the same.
