New Delhi, Dec.24: The first dosage of Covid vaccine has been given to all persons who are eligible for vaccination, according to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The Delhi CM also praised the healthcare and frontline workers who have been at the vanguard of the pandemic fight. He used Twitter to convey information about the city’s immunisation programme.
“Delhi completes first dose to 100 per cent eligible people — 148.33 lakh. Salute to doctors, ANMs, teachers, ASHAs, CDVs and all other frontline workers. Congratulations to DMs, CDMOs, DIOs and all district functionaries,” Kejriwal tweeted.
According to government data, Delhi reached the milestone of giving at least one dose of Covid vaccination to everyone over the age of 18 on Thursday.
