New Delhi, March 6: In connection with the liquor policy case, Manish Sisodia, a former deputy chief minister of Delhi, has been placed in 14-day judicial prison. The CBI has had the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader in its custody for the past week since his detention. Sisodia will be kept in the Tihar prison.

Sisodia was detained in relation to allegations of corruption in the creation and execution of the now-cancelled 2021–22 spirits policy.
The CBI claims that the AAP leader was detained because he refused to participate with the probe despite being presented with evidence and gave evasive answers.
