New Delhi, March 22: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Wednesday sent Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia to Judicial Custody till April 5, 2023.
Special judge MK Nagpal at Rouse Avenue court passed the order.
“We will send him to judicial custody till April 5,” the judge said.
Meanwhile, Sisodia urged the court to allow him to carry some religious and spiritual books during his judicial custody. The court says you move an application in this regard, we will allow.
“You move an application, we will allow,” the judge said.
Sisodia was detained by a judge in that case on February 26 after being arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the liquor policy issue. He was kept by the CBI till March 6. He was then taken into legal custody after that.
