Deoghar, March 24: DC Manjunath Bhajantri on Friday appealed to the Panda Dharmarakshini Sabha general secretary and his associates to call off the fast-unto-death agitation on the issue of registration of Lakhraj as the district administration has already been doing its job to figure out the process for registration.

Bhajantari held a press meeting around 10 am in his auditorium today and clarified his stand on various issues related to the ongoing agitation led by the General Secretary of Panda Dharmarakshini Sabha and others from March 15.

Talking to the media, the DC claimed that he has formed a committee of officials to look into the legal aspect of the registration of land. The booking of Shighra Darshanam is done exclusively by the priest society only.
