Deoghar, May 16: The conduct of the police is rarely praised. But Deoghar police this time tried to dispel this by saving three injured persons lying on the national highway and bringing them timely to the hospital in its patrolling vehicle without waiting for an ambulance.
The incident took place near Ghormara on the Deoghar-Dumka highway. Three bike riders were reported injured by colliding with an electric pole standing on the side of the road.
The three were seriously injured and two of them were in critical condition. No one was bothering to assist them, rather they could be seen shooting video or waiting for an ambulance. As soon as the patrolling team of Mohanpur Police got the information, they reached the spot and without getting late all three were shifted into the patrolling vehicle and brought to Deoghar Sadar Hospital. The injured were attended by a medical team in the hospital.
The timely initiative taken by ASI Dhirendra Yadav and police Banshilal Baitha has been recognized by their department. Their readiness and alertness toward duty have been reeled off to the media.
